Wow guys! We had 19 amazing entries for the first prompt of BCF December and we hope to surpass that for the second prompt! So we hope you’ll take the time and share our site with your fellow writers/flashers, tweet about the tournament, and all of that fun stuff.
This is the second and final chance to qualify in the BCF December Tournament so make sure you give it your all, especially because the three people that have already qualified will be trying to clinch another spot! If they succeed they’ll be facing against fewer stories and have two stories of their own up for the title of Monthly Mahatama and all associated prizes. Bring your A game everyone!
Also, after the final 3 qualifying entries are chosen, we will be running a Community Favorite contest. We will create a poll and you, the community, can vote on your favorite of the stories! The winner will be named the Monthly Community Champion. We aren’t sure if we’ll have any prizes for the Community Champion this month, but we will in the future. So be on the look out for the post and poll!
For those that haven’t visited us before and aren’t sure of how this all works, please go and read through THIS POST. In that post we cover everything you need to know about the BCF Monthly, but if you have any extra questions feel free to ask us in the comment section there.
PROMPT:
Ruth Long will be our judge this round and she has chosen the image below as your prompt. You all should be very familiar with Ruth as she is a wonderful supporter of the Flash Fiction community and even co-hosts this very tournament!
Some words from Ruth:
I was totally blown away by all the terrific entries in the first round! Now that you have the formatting issues under your belt, I can’t wait to see what you create for this second prompt!!
PRIZES:
Also, every author that qualifies for the Monthly Prize will receive a copy of Robert D Young’s book, you can find out more HERE.
*NOTE 1* You don’t need a blog to submit your BCF story, all you need to do is upload the image you’ve created to an imagehost (we suggest using IMGUR) and posting that link in the inlinkz below!
